Vintage carved mother of pearl shell island and hut brooch measuring 3/4" wide. It is a small lapel brooch, so please check the measurement before bidding. The pin is glued on, and the pin is labeled "pat. 2063969". The patent date corresponds to the late 1930s. No chips or cracks. The safety catch works, and is tight.
