Vintage WWII 1940s Hotel Astor Cocktail Menu
Vintage Hotel Astor cocktail menu. It was collected by Private Lester Waxman who was an M.P. in the United States during WWII. He traveled extensively across the United States delivering prisoners, and he collected items to send to his girlfriend Evelyn Abrams. It is part of a lot of correspondence between them that was kept in Evelyn's WWII scrapbook. "Compliments of Lester Waxman" is written on the front. There is a list of Hotel Astor drinks in the menu. The menu was folded to fit in a pocket at one time, and is discolored by being stored in a scrapbook. Please see photos for condition. It measures 7 3/4" by 6 1/2" folded.
