Antique Hartford Silver Plate Tea Condiment Set 1880s
Antique silver plate Hartford Silver Plate Co which was in business from 1882 to 1893. It has the older mark. I think the items are a sugar, creamer, and waste or spooner. The sugar and creamer have what appears to be an edge for a lid, but there is not a lid. They each have a wonderfully ornate repousse edging and handles. They measure 4 1/4" to 4 1/2" high. The designs on them are etched and hollowed. No wear to the finish or dents. The waste/spooner has a lid. It measures 7" high and has one ding on the bottom edge. They are all marked with the "hartford Silver plate co" symbol for the early years of the company circa 1882.
